Ordering and payment
How do I make an order?
On the product page, add the item to the shopping cart, and enter the required quantity. The ‘continue’ process will take you through the payment and checkout. Check your email and delivery address are correctly entered.
What payment types do you accept? And how secure are my payment card details?
We use Paypal as our payments partner. Paypal is well-known in the online world as a provider of secure payment solutions for businesses. You can use your own credit and debit cards with Paypal and there is no need to have a Paypal account.
You’ll be transferred to Paypal’s secure servers to complete your payment during the checkout process, this uses secure sockets layer (https) to keep your information safe. For your protection, Kyrene Designs never holds your payment details. Please see Paypal’s own site for more information.
Postage and packaging
What packaging do you use?
Goods are carefully wrapped in a box tied with ribbon, and sent in a padded bag or carton. We use gripseal bags to protect both the silver from tarnishing, and the goods in transit. We aim to be as eco-friendly as possible with our packaging.
What are the postage rates?
Postage costs are based on the total value of your order. The current rates are:

A signature may be required for some deliveries and you will be informed by email; this is usually for higher priced goods. Delivery of stock items is usually within 2–5 working days.
Do you post outside the UK?
We are not currently set up to take international orders directly on this website. However please email us as we can arrange your order directly with you. (You may need to pay customs and import duties in your country).
What if my jewellery doesn’t arrive or arrives damaged?
Email us as soon as possible.
Returns
Can I cancel an order? Do you accept returns?
Yes, but we cannot accept returns on pierced earrings due to EU hygiene regulations. Matching Sets are sold as one complete item and cannot be returned if the pierced earring option item was ordered.
You must notify us to return goods by emailing us within 14 days after you received the goods. If goods have not been despatched, we will refund you. If the order has already been despatched, you will need to return the items under our returns policy. You are responsible for damage or loss when returning goods and they must be unworn, in original condition and fit for resale. A deduction may be made if not in good condition.
We provide detailed instructions, clear photographs and accurate measurements, so always check measurements carefully when ordering, as photographs display items bigger than in real life.

How do I contact you?

Will it fit me?
Photographs show items larger than real life, so please check the stated sizing. The sizing page has more information.
How do you string and finish off the jewellery?
Jewellery is strung on professional quality jeweller’s wire which has many strands of stainless steel coated in nylon, made especially for stringing and which provides the correct strength and drape. Fine quality silk is used for traditional hand knotting.
Gimp (french wire) or wire guardians are used to protect against wear and tear, therefore giving the best protection. The best type of crimps on the market are used to secure the item.
Information about earrings and clasps
We use earring hooks or posts according to the design of the earring and how it hangs best, however they can be swopped. We offer alternative silver-plated ‘soft’ (not hard shutting) clips for non-pierced ears. Extreme hypoallergenic hooks can be made available in four colours - gold, silver, antique brass and black.
Do you do customisation (minor alterations) and bespoke (full design)?
Please enquire about customisations and bespoke designs. We can often make items in silver or gold, or make an item longer or shorter etc.
